Some friends of us that came to our wedding got married in June. It was a lovely ceremony and reception, however after quite a long period of sunshine, the weather choose that day to rain, and rain it did!
There were quite a few people from work that came along which was really nice to be able to spend some social time with them outside of work. Also I gather the weddings here are slightly different then what I am used to. After the ceremony it was off to the reception for drinks nibbles and then the wedding breakfast at about 3:30pm. After that there was more drinking and dancing and then out came the bacon rolls and dessert (umm chocolate covered strawberries!) It was a really lovely day and you could tell the bride and groom really enjoyed the day.
