Dunstable Downs Kite Day

On Sunday we headed over to Dunstable to see my Aunt and Uncle and visit my grandpa in hospital. After a yummy lunch we headed up to Dunstable Downs to see the kite day. It was perfect weather for kite flying, nice and sunny and windy. They had some professional kite flyer's (if there is such a thing) that did there demonstrations to music. The first guy we saw did a display to some modern pop music (can't quite recall the exact track) but he got the kite (a stunt kite) balanced on on wing tip and it was dancing away on one wing tip and then he could bring it in to land and then take it up again. Looking at him was tiring, but it was an awesome display. Peter and I forgot to take our cameras but I have a few rather poor quality phone camera pics.
