Nettlebed Bike Ride

So the weather forecast was for a clear but cold day, so what else can you do but spend all day on your bike riding through MUD, lots of it!

We are pretty lucky to live on the doorstep to the Chilterns which has some excellent mountain biking, however it's not so great in winter as the nice woodland paths turn to MUD (yes all caps MUD!) We had however found a route that was OK in the wet so off we went on the 25km ride.

It was quite muddy indeed, but afterwards I was glad I went. I am very unfit, riding through mud requires lots of stamina, and I love my thermals :-)

Highlight of the ride by far was seeing about 12 deer running through the pine forest, magical. Closely followed by the turkey panini in Henley...

Some photos for your viewing pleasure...
