Fourth day at home

So after Monday's little adventure I decided to stay at home on Tuesday too as the snow that had melted on Monday had turned to ice over night, making it still a little scary to get out of our road. Wednesday I thought, right time to brave it, there is no more snow forecast and it's going to be warmer. So I got in my car, only to have it die in a rather pitiful pathetic way. With no breakdown cover (really should have got that organised earlier!) I was stranded again. Today, it's another snow day, but that wouldn't have made any difference as my car is still in the drive waiting for the local mechanic to come and tow it away and hopefully fix it (if not eek!!!!!!!!!). Anyway, the UK is kind of the laughing stock of Europe at the moment as we can't handle a bit of snow and now it would seem we are running out of grit... sometimes it's so fun living in the UK.
